The art of cooking simple food has all but disappeared in this “Iron Chef” age we are in. That is why I started my blog. I want to help everyone feel comfortable cooking great wholesome food while reserving dining out for special occasions. Our health and well-being depend on it. Think of me as an anti-wizard; I will demystify even the most complex culinary creation. I want to help everyone gain the knowledge of successfully cooking modern cuisine from around the world with emphasis on great taste, simple techniques and healthful eating.

Cooking tools are essential to good cooking. People often ask for my advice regarding cooking tools before they spend their hard earned money. To that end, I have entered into an exciting partnership with a great group of people. I have been chosen to be a Shopkeeper with OpenSky, “a place where relationships, passion and commerce meet.” It’s a community of enthusiastic like-minded people interested in using their specific talents and expertise to bring you only the best field tested products.  Suppliers, Shopkeepers and shoppers work together. They call it “relationship commerce.” Shopkeepers only recommend products they themselves use. Products are sourced and shipped directly from the Suppliers. Plus, OpenSky offers a 1 year return guarantee with return shipping paid.

My Shop will offer products that I have used and loved for 25 years in my professional kitchen and in my home kitchen. The products I offer will be essential for the home cook. Many of the tools that I have chosen to offer in my Shop are of such high quality, they will last a lifetime. This is just a sneak peek at what I will be offering. Visit my Shop at http://culinaryphilosopher.theopenskyproject.com/ and come back often because new essential items will be added frequently!
