I didn't grow up thinking one day I'd be an entrepreneur. It's just something that happened gradually, and organically. So you can imagine my surprise when Kimberly Allers Seals, creator of The Mocha Manual brand (books, clothing line, web site, you name it), and a former co-worker of mine at Essence magazine, asked me if I would consider being featured as a "Mom We Love" on her web site. WOULD I?!?!?!? Umm, quicker than it took me to type yes, I said YES!:)
