The New MMDA Chairman and Noynoy's Administration

By Summers in Love (Visit website)

I can't help but notice a few things. Metro Manila will wake up to a surprise once the new MMDA Chairman implements his rules. In fact, I have seen his words in action starting yesterday. Around the metro, police seemed a lot stricter with the rules that buses can only stay for a while. Gone are the nasty police who receives money in return for allowing those idiotic bus drivers to stay a lot longer than what is intended. Traffic seemed a lot lighter as well.

I actually admire this person who is not afraid to make new enemies, not from the people below poverty line trying to sell their goods, but from the powerful members of the government. He confidently says the names of the companies that violates his rules, and bravely stated that a lot of color coding exceptions will be nullified. Which means easy and smooth-flowing traffic for us!

On the other hand, I am utterly disappointed with Noynoy. He has given us lavish words and promises, but right now I can't see any of those coming true. I hate men who don't keep their word. I hate when they try to please everyone and yet they really can't, and promise to help when they can't afford to do so. Saying "Kayo ang boss ko" is a bad idea. You can't please everyone. He should have thought about this.

So where is the better Philippines now? I bet it would come off better with the new MMDA Chairman's work, in comparison with the president's efforts.
