The Pounding in my Head
Good morning! Thanks for all y’alls sweet comments last night regarding my migraine. Unfortunately it was a BAD one…probably the worst I’ve had in a very long time. I finally took two excedrin migraine around 10:00, watched Walk the Line (best movie ever) and then fell asleep around midnight with ice packed on my forehead. Hot. Woke up this morning still with the headache, took two more excedrin migraine, drank some black tea, laid down with MORE ice on my head and now I’m feeling a little bit better…finally. Ugh is right. And blackberry is apparently down, which is a whole other headache in itself. Wasn’t life so much simpler pre-cellphone? Ahh the good ol’ days. I knew I would feel better if I ate something substantial even though I felt so icky! ![]() Oatmeal made with a half cup oats, 1 cup water, 1 banana, 1/2 scoop protein powder, 1 tbsp almond butter and a spoonful of pom seeds. *** I don’t think I’m going to Bikram today because I still feel pretty woozy and now I have all this migraine medicine in my system, which is never a good thing. Instead, I’m going to do a long Dave Farmar podcast in my living room because that’s always what makes my head feel better. Seriously…triangle pose is a miracle worker for migraines!
