By Rawfully Tempting? (Visit website)

These are SERIOUSLY decadent brownies. Yes, there are easier recipes you can quickly throw together to make brownies, however, if you are a true brownie LOVER, these are worth the effort. I've included links to some of the ingredients you may not have. Try these rich, chocolaty, melt-in-your-mouth treats and let us know what you think.

The Ultimate Chocolate Fudge Brownie
13 medjool dates, pitted and chopped
1/2  cup sunflower seeds, soaked 2 hours
1 1/2  cups walnuts (soaked 6 - 8 hours)
1/2  cup almonds (soaked overnight)
1/4  cup hemp seeds
1/3  cup (+3 Tbsp) cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 to 1/2 cup maple syrup or agave, per your taste
1 tsp mesquite powder (optional)
1/4  cup cacao butter, grated
1 Tbsp coconut oil
1/4 cup cacao paste, grated
1 tsp  vanilla (or 4 drops *Medicine Flower Vanilla Extract)
1/4  cup water (as needed to blend)
1/4  cup goji berries  - soaked  (optional)
1/4  cup shredded coconut (optional)
1/2  cup raisins
1/2  cup chopped walnuts

In food processor, mix walnuts, almonds, dates and sunflower seeds. Add cacao powder, mesquite, hemp seeds, sweetener, and process until well blended.

Melt cacao butter, coconut oil and cacao paste using two bowls. Place hoter in small metal bowl and grated ingredients on top in a larger metal bowl. Add melted ingredients, drained goji berries, extract and process until everything sticks together. Add water, as needed to blend. You may have to mix by hand or with spatula.

Add chopped walnuts, shredded coconut and raisins to this mixture.Spread mixture onto a non-stick dehydrator tray and form with hands into a rectangle about 1/2 - 3/4" thick. (Or form individual brownie squares).

Dehydrate at 125 degrees for 1 hour. Adjust dehydrator to 110 degrees for 2 hours and then flip brownies onto mesh tray. Using a dull-edged knife, cut into brownie squares. Continue to dehydrate for 6 hours or until done. Will be dry on outside and very chewy inside.

Serve warm out of dehydrator or with a scoop raw ice cream, and top with your favorite chocolate fudge sauce and shredded coconut. Store unused brownies in freezer.
