Third cup of coffee, 10h30 AM?
I woke up at four o’clock this morning. Is my body already anticipating jet lag? Am I becoming nocturnal? Or just nuts? To make matters even creepier, when stepping out for some apples this morning, I stumbled on a black cat waiting by the apartment door. I am not sure what this portends, but I do know that waking up at 4 AM definitely throws off your eating schedule. I’ve already gone through breakfast, snack and lunch, not to mention three espressos and an earl gray tea. Here’s my (mostly eaten) 10 am lunch–leftover tortellini, salad and tomato sauce. What’s next? Dinner at noon? Cocktails at 2? Bed time before tea time? ![]()
