To-Dos
Evening all. I feel like I have a million things to do before I drive home Wednesday afternoon! I have little lists all over. I definitely slacked off too much this weekend so its making me feel more behind but I'm actually not that bad off...just feeling disorganized! I'll be back on track after break! I did get back on track with running this morning though. I got caught in some light rain at the end of my run but did 6.75 miles...slowly...I kept zoning out and not focusing. Oh well. It was nice to be out there and thats all that matters....
Pre-run snack: spelt cake with vanilla almond ab Breakfast: All I had was an apple...definitely not the same sweetness effect as my usual banana...the oats were kinda blah but I ate them anyway. 1/3 cup 5 grain cereal1/2 apple1 tablespoon flaxcinnamonadded some non-fat fage after the pic Lunch: Salad with grilled flank steak, goat cheese, olives, and red onion Dinner: Bread: The pic wouldn't come out, but they had hot rolls. Yum. Amuse: No idea but it had a Mexican feel to it. 1st course: Salad with mozzarella, mango, and some kind of cured meat with olive oil. It all combined together well. Main course: Flank steak roulade with provolone and spinach with polenta fries and zucchini...wasn't my favorite dish so far Dessert: Warm chocolate cake with raspberry coulis and creme anglais Snack: I got a little hungry later in the night while doing homework at a friend's and I snacked on some of a clif z bar. We finally get our whites tomorrow! I think I'm still going to go business casual to class but it will be so cool to put on a jacket with my name! Speaking of tomorrow...the CIA goodies giveway ends! I might not be able to get the prize sent out until I get back though since I'm now leaving Wednesday afternoon instead of Thursday (driving back instead of the train). Ok, time to get some more work done before bed! Night all! Random food fact of the Day: When picking brussel sprouts look for ones that are moderate size and round. Bigger is not always better and can be a sign of overmaturation which compromises flavor.
