Tofu Wasabi Dip with Baked Wonton Chips
These chips are sooooo good! Try this dip. It is from one of the tofu company websites. The wasabi flavor is perfect for keeping within the Asian theme of the wontons. Dip: Mix 1/2 tsp wasabi powder with 1/2 cup hot water and let sit for about 3 minutes. In the food processor mix: the wasabi mixture, 1 pound tofu, 1/2 cup chopped green onions, 1 tsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp soy sauce. You can play around with this for sure and add other ingredients. I added Srirachu sauce and topped with sesame seeds. Serves 4. Weight Watchers Plus Points value: 3 For the chips: I found vegan wonton wrappers at my local grocery store (QFC). Take half of package of vegan wonton wrappers (20) and cut them in fourths. Place on a cooking-sprayed baking sheets in a single layer. Bake at 425 for 2 minutes. Flip and bake for 1 minute. Add salt or seasonings, if desired. When cut in fourths, you get 20 chips! The dip is a generous amount as well. 4 servings.
