Listen up people, the passing lane is for PASSING, and the acceleration lane is for ACCELERATING..... kindly get it straight.

I've allowed Spellchecker to take over for my brain.  Waiting patiently for Mathchecker to become available.

Static Guard smells awful.

Despicable Me is the cutest movie ever - even if you don't have kids, rent it!!!  Once you watch it you'll realize what I mean when I say I need an army of tiny French-speaking Minions at my disposal. 

One of the kids got a video camera for Christmas.  The diet industry is missing out here - I've have never been more motivated to loose weight than I am after seeing myself on film.

The ceiling in my dentist's office is really ugly.

I was typing away, minding my own business, when out of nowhere a winter hat crashed into my laptop.  Scared me half to death, but little miss 13 year old nearly laughed her head off.  I guess it was kind of funny.

I hate the improper and/or over use of italics.

Moms don't get snow days.

I absolutely refuse to save twist ties - they go straight into the garbage can.

Speaking of - garbage cans are a necessary evil.

There's something wrong with craving ice cream when it's below freezing outside.

I'm a city girl living in a neighborhood that's kind of in the country.  During our time here, I've seen a number of creatures in our yard - all kinds of birds and reptiles, deer, possum, bear, fox, coyote, a stray cow or two, but last week we had our largest visitors to date.  Nothing quite prepares you for the sight of 4 horses standing 5-feet outside your living room window at midnight.  Actually, I wasn't that surprised since there had been 3 horses roaming the neighborhood the day before, but still.  Anyone know if the leash law applies to horses?
