Tuesday main meals: Rice with baby octopus
This is a recipe we ALL love. Actually this past time I made this dish and my toddler took the leftovers to school, something funny happened. Her best friend at daycare hated the smell of my toddler's lunch and begged to eat in a different room. Meanwhile my toddler kept on trying to get people to try her "ocopus" as she absolutely loves it! INGREDIENTS16 baby octopus1.5 cups of rice 1 small onion 1 small onion diced olive oil water salt & pepper DIRECTIONSPlace the octopus in a large pan with water, salt and a full onion Low boil for about 20 minutes or until the octopus is nice and tender Remove the octopus and keep the water in a different pan, add the olive oil and lightly brown the onions Add the rice and turn until the grains become translucent Add enough of the water from cooking the octopus to cook the rice (the idea is for the rice NEVER to dry out) Once the rice is cooked, add the baby octopus, warm it up for 3 minutes then it's ready to be served related searches : Tuesday
