Tuna Patties
One of my running friends gave me this recipe the other day. She got it from her sister. Don't you love the history in recipes! These were very easy to make and the family gobbled them up! I came up with the sauce recipe, it's kind of a different take on a tartar sauce.
Tuna Patties 1 package Stove Top Dressing, any flavor 3/4 cup water 2 cans of tuna, drained 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 cup grated cheddar cheese 1/3 cup mayonnaise 1/3 cup chopped onion In a large mixing bowl mix the dressing mix and the water. I drained my tuna in a colander and then using a fork broke it up. Add the rest of the ingredients to the dressing mix and stir well. Cover and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Form into patties and fry in a frying pan sprayed with Pam. Cook for 3 minutes on each side. Makes 10 - 12 patties. Sauce For Patties 1/3 cup sour cream 2 tablespoons roasted red pepper, chopped 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese, grated 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 1/8 teaspoon onion powder salt and pepper to taste 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl.
