Turning Nineteen.

By Bitter Sweet Flavours (Visit website)

How I hate 8am classes, waking up at 6 and racing to college through the jam full of competitors as everyone rushed to work. Though I dread waking up for my continuous 6hours class today, the SMSes reminded me to put a smile on my face. Realizing the due date for my project brief report has to be handed in tomorrow, I couldn't help but feel stress about it. Class after class, they just felt like they were not going to end. The usual panic attacked me as I hushed Sean to get the format of my report printed so that I could rush home and get it over with. Being really stressed out, the last 2 hours of class which my close friends did not attend was meaningless to me.
Finally, the my 6 horrible hours has been put to an end. I quickly asked Sean to get a copy of the reports for me.

"Wait lah", he answered me with a grin.
And after 6 hours of being in class why would anyone want to stay there any longer?
"Wait for what?", I questioned being absolutely curious.
"Wait for Qabilla."
Then I just sat aside and watched Qabilla taking his place right beside Sean as they had their usual empty conversation. Why are we doing this? I was anxious to go home and get my work done.
"What are you guys waiting for? Lets go!!", I demanded impatiently as I stomped right out of the building.
Qabilla insisted me to get to the concourse and I did as everyone stood there talking. I gave up. I didn't know why everyone was standing there doing nothing when SumHee came in and made an unusual request, to accompany him to the canteen for food!! He skipped the 2 hours class.. isn't that more than enough time for him to eat already! Sigh. (I went with him anyway)
And when I got back to the concourse...
they sang me a birthday song! Gosh. I was speechless. How could I ever have thought they would remember my birthday. I was trembling when I made my wish and blew my candle (there was only one, good thing they hide my age aswell! So thoughtful right? hehe..)

I'm really thankful for all the wishes, surprise, cake and just standing there. You guys got me good. Another prove to why men are better in keeping things, except for Sean which is a good thing. But I wasn't expecting anything like that.

As the happy times passed by me, I still had to get home to finish up my report. I was hoping for some salmon at Pick n Brew in OneUtama. Unfortunately when I went to look for it, they were closed already, so I decided we go Chili's instead. Being not such great meat fans, we got ourselves what we wanted, fish.

Grilled Salmon with Garlic & Herbs

which was not bad at all.. Mum and I loved the juicy grilled salmon which was nicely cooked, marinated which gave a very mild taste of herbs. So did we love the rice!

Quesadilla Explosion

Loving mexican food with the tremendous amount of cheese (woohoo, fats), I woudn't call this a salad but mum and I loved this too!

I've been dreaming of ice cream cakes, from Haagen-Daz. When I went there, I wanted macadamia ice cream cake, and mum suggested for the same price we get a 5 scoop ice cream. Well, why not? I got to try 5 different flavours, plus the guy at the counter was being very generous letting me try almost all the flavours, and he even sang me a birthday song!

Time to rush home for reports.

Thanks for the surprise, the song, the great day, the gifts, the wishes, for cheering me up and putting a smile on my face letting me know I had to hold on. It might not be the bestest birthday swimming in pages of reports but I had a really great time. Special thanks to mum for her encouragements to move on.
