Vanilla Hearts
Ingredients 225 grams plain flour150 grams butter, cut into small pieces125 grams caster sugar1 tsp vanilla essence Sift the flour into a large bowl.Add the butter and rub it in with your fingers until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.Stir in the caster sugar and vanilla essence and mix together to form a firm dough.Roll out the dough on a lightly floured work surface to a thickness of 1 inch.Stamp out hearts with heart shaped cutter.
