Vday Grooming
So, Im happy to report that I just returned home to 3 empty parking spaces, and the only rumbling I hear is that of the AC. Ahh... Yoga this morning was fantastic! The instructor, Susan, whom I've mentioned before also teaches at the Gym down the road. Since I missed Wednesday's class, I took her advice and came to her morning flow at Gold's. In all honesty, I was a bit put off by the "gym" location, and have kind of avoided it for that reason. Boy was I ever wrong! I got there and scored a free class, the manager simply let me "try" it out since I was a friend of Susan's! The power was out for some reason, so she lit candles all around the room, how romantic! She brings the most rockin energy to her class, I can't do justice with words. Inspired by Shiva Rea, she takes us through these wave-like sequences, bringing a trance vibe to her flow. Her class is unlike anything I haven experienced before, I love it! She incorporates all the elements into her classes, flowing like water and floating like air until you want to melt to the ground. Then she does it all over again! They are so intelligently sequenced, touching and relating every part of you to the asana. Today she did an intense "Dragon" sequence, with deep lunges, kicking dogs, flowing from side to side; moving to Warrior III, and Standing splits, and bringing it all back down into a Spine twist and hip opener. Talk about burn! I could go on an on about how confident and empowered I feel, so let's just come to that conclusion and move on, shall we? After her class, I made a quick stop at the Salon for some desperate eyebrow taming, it was pretty serious! I just can't handle my face in such conditions, it was so nice to be groomed! I made my way home for lunch just before 1, in desperate need of some fueling. I broke out the big guns, and did it up burger style. Oh, yeah.  BBQ Bistro burger on a Sesame bun, toasted with avocado, herbs, tomatoes, and onions I also enjoyed some juicy pineapple. It pairs so heavenly with BBQ sauce. In my humble opinion.  Todays burger was pretty legit, I gotta say. That BBQ sauce took it over the edge!  After lunch I got a phone call from Daddio, so I drove over to the house and exchanged some love, and by love I mean a fancy Candle from my momma. ;)It was grooming day for everyone, including this little lady.  Peekaboo! This is Kiwi, the camera shy of the children. Girlfriend got her nails done and her hair did too. Clipped, Snipped and Trimmed, it was time for a bath!  She looked like a wet rat, it was hilarious! Girly loves playing in the rain.  She even has her own Evian Spray. She's a diva, what can I say. Speaking of Divas...  Camera whore over here made herself known, squeezing herself into the bird's transport. Look at her all "Who, me?" She's so silly, that Lola!I'm totally going to be that crazy lady with all the cat's huh... ;) I have no idea where dinner's at tonight, I will report back later when I find it.
