Vegetable kurma recipe
Ingredients: 2 cups of below vegetables cut into small pieces Carrot Beans Peas Potatoes ginger and garlic paste - 1 tsp cumin seeds - 1 tbsp onion - 1 chopped tomato - 1 chopped coconut - grated 4 tbsp chilli powder -1 tsp cumin powder - 1 tsp coriander powder -1 tsp garam masala - 1/2 tsp Method: In a deep bottomed pan , add tbsp of oil and let cumin splutter followed by ginger garlic paste and then add chopped onions and tomator and then once it is cooked fine add coconut and all powders. Let the raw aroma of spices escape. Run it thro blender and then transfer back to the pan and add vegetables and water and boil it till it is cooked fine. This goes well with chappati and rice.
