Vendakai/Okra Moor kuzhambu
Ingredients:
Toor dal-2table spoonRice-2table spoonJeera-1teaspoonGreen chilly-3 nosCoconut-2table spoon shredderdGinger-1/2inchCan do the Kuzhambu,with Brinjal/Eggplant,Neer Poosanikai/White pumpkin also.My Mom do the Moor Kuzhambu with adding fried Parupu vadai. Method: Step 1: Wash the ladies finger,cut the both edges.And then.,cut in to 1"size.Heat oil in the pan,fry all okra/ladies fingers and keep it aside.Don't add water to cook.just roast in oil.no need to close the lid also.Ground all ingredients,with little water.Transfer,the mixture in to Bowl and add enough salt,turmeric powder,curd and water.Mixture have to be in thin.Step 2: Heat 2teaspoon of oil in pan,splutter Mustard seeds,Jeera,Curry leaves.Put chopped onion,and fry well.Now add fried Okra/Ladied fringers mix it well.Pour all the ground mixture in to it.Keep the stove in low flame.Cook it for 3-4 mns.Don't allow the curry to boil.Garnish with curry leaves and cilantro,serve with white rice.This curry have to cook in medium flame only. related searches : Vendakai
