Victoria Station - Taipan, Subang Jaya
Since we have been to Victoria Station's outlets at Medan Damansara and Jalan Barat, Petaling Jaya, this time we dined at the one situated at Taipan, Subang Jaya. The restaurant was packed to the maximum but as its only two of us, squeezing in was not a problem at all. For sure, this restaurant is known for the wonderful and great steaks served here. Steaks are not for us as we don't eat beef but there were options for us like seafood, chicken and lamb. Looking through the menu, we wanted to try out the Lamb Cutlets, Lobster Thermidor, one Heineken and I wanted to try the "Lager Lime". What much can I comment about a bottle of Heineken beer that you can find practically anywhere. The Lager Lime - great with the lime taste inside for a change. I was trilled to discover this beer and its existence. The standard bun with butter served in most Western restaurants arrived and my other half enjoyed it but I did not touch my share of it. As you can see from the image above, quite a big portion of lamb came with boiled/steamed veges, corn and the baked potato. Nice and juicy and not over-cooked, making it easy to cut and chew. The lobster was baked with a generous amount of cheese with some mushroom inside. Very creamy and rich I must say. Once I was done with half the portion, the other was a big struggle as I could not handle it anymore. All I did was, scrap off the cheese and enjoyed it while leaving the lobster meat aside. We were not disappointed for paying RM 210.00 as I would say delicious food based on our preferred taste. After all, the concept of dining in a classy coach went well with the selection of food for the night. related searches : Victoria
