Vitamuffins!
Happy Saturday folks!
I'm going to keep this short because I'm off to go get my hair cut soon. I am SO excited. I haven't gotten a hair cut since August so it's about that time. I keep my hair pretty long for the most part but today I'm feeling that I need to shed some major inches. I seriously saw a quadruple split end the other day. hmmmmm So last night I came home to an awesome box of Vitamuffin samples! Thank you so much to Katie at Vitalicious for sending these to me! The first one I tried was after dinner last night! Fudgy Peanut butter chip. YES! This was so good, it was fudgy and moist and had a ton of pb chips. I can't believe it is 100 calories. I mixed it up in some banana/cocoa powder/pb2 soft serve. This morning before my workout I grabbed another Vitamuffin out of the freezer. It was the Raisin Bran flavor. It was yummy, kind of had a lemony flavor. Could have used more raisins in my opinion, but still good and gave me lots of energy. I also toasted up two of the corn vitamuffins when I got home for Joe for breakfast. He is probably used to a real muffin that is loaded with fat and calories, so I was interested to see what he thought. He gave them a 9 out 10. Here is some more product info on Vitalicious. I made a great asian stirfry. I kind of winged it, but it came out good. I find that stirfry is a good way to use things up and make a healthy dinner in a hurry. I used some soba noodles, cooked tofu, shrimp that I sauteed with garlic and a spicy stirfry sauce, broccoli, a little sesame oil, soy sauce and sesame seeds. Sounds like a lot but I just kind of threw it all together and it was great! Ok, gotta run! I'll post pics of the hair later if all goes well. How often do you get your hair cut? Do you color it? Have a great day!
