I only discovered Mascarpone Cheese in the past couple of years but love the creamy element that adds something special to so many recipes when used in place of cream cheese, sour cream or even mayonnaise. I saw this post from Steamy Kitchen right before the New Years holiday and just had to serve it to my guests for a party I hosted. Jaden was inspired by Allison Hooper from In a Cheesemaker’s Kitchen and I thank both of them and Jaden especially for her beautiful photograph. My guests dug in before I had a chance to take one but I’ll forgive them (this time), not everyone knows the house rule – Do not touch or eat ANYTHING without permission first; ever.
