Weather report

By Emily Eats Clean (Visit website)

It’s got from hot and humid here in Tennessee to cooler, rainy, and dreery-looking outside.  My hair has gone from humid frizzy to rainy waves…..got love this Tennessee weather!  :)

How was your day?  Mine was good, but busy.  It’s almost 5 and I’ve still got dinner to cook, a meeting to attend, a run to conquer, and 9 evaluations to dictate.  Oh and Tuesday night is “floors” night at our house…..gotta help vaccum and mop too.  Sheesh.

Morning snack

I ended up flip-flopping my morning and afternoon snack today due to convenience.

This was a new to me Raw Revolution bar.  A first I was a little skeptical because it didn’t really look chocolate chip cookie dough-ish and if a company is gonna flavor a product “chocolate chip cookie dough” it dang well better taste like it.  Conclusion:  It tasted like chocolate chip cookie dough indeed and was pretty dang good.  :D

Lunch

Seriously, I woke up craving a PB&J sandwich.

1 slice of Manna organic multigrain flax sourdough spread with Naturally More PB and Polaner fruit spread.  Veggies on the side and I nixed the pear.

This Manna bread was very thinly sliced but was very dense.  I wasn’t overly crazy about it, though.

Afternoon Snack

Last night’s veggies made a great afternoon snack, even cold.

However, like last night, they sat my mouth on fire and my Nalgene was empty.  Emergency tea stop followed.  :)

Unsweet tea with lemon, no sweetener added.

Dang kashi cereal is running my dinner

I’m sitting here eating it by the handfuls.  It’s really that good.

Off to accomplish a zillion things…..

I know I do, as much as I truly adore the changing of the seasons (all seasons) and as much as I try to cook seasonally sometimes I can't help it and I just crave things...these Eggplant Napoleons are a perfect example of something I just outright[...]
