When life is busy call on Annie Chun for a busy Monday Stir Fry!
I really wanted to cook a home cooked meal tonight because while I was away Dad on the Run made sure to load up on non-purification restaurants. The girls were in heaven :) Last week I was sent an amazing samples package to try from Annie Chun?s All-Natural Asian Cuisine. They have launched a new line of Asian noodles and I was able to sample with a few tonight :)
What I love about Annie Chun?s products is that they are all natural and you don?t have to put much effort or time to create a healthy meal. As Annie states herself: ?That's the secret behind our Annie Chun's sauces: all-natural ingredients, chosen with care and prepared in the style of my family's favorite recipes. We use no preservatives, and our sauces are lower in sodium and fat, many are even completely fat-free. They're easy-to-use right from the bottle to create full-flavored noodle dishes (check out our wonderful line of Asian Noodles designed to go with them), stir-fries, and grilled meat, seafood poultry and vegetables.? I dug out my Wok and whipped up a great Asian inspired meal in less than 30 minutes. Sarah?s Quick Stir FryIngredients: Grape Seed Oil or any other high heat oil 1 pound of Stir Fry Beef or Chicken (I used both) 2 TBSP of Corn Starch 1 Bottle of Annie Chun?s Teriyaki Sauce 1 Box of Annie Chun?s Chow Mein Noodles Stir Fry Veggies (I used fresh) Fresh Ginger 2 Cloves of Garlic I started by heating Grape Seed Oil in a hot Wok. This is my Mom?s First Wok! It is over 20 years old and still work great!
Once the Wok and oil are heated. Add the meat and allow to brown through for about 5-7 minutes. Add ginger and garlic to the cooking meat. Once meats are browned remove from heat and set aside. Next, add Veggies to wok and allow for them to cook through or to crunchy desire.
Once veggies are cooked through, add meat back to wok and let flavors mingle and add teriyaki sauce. Let wok simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens a bit. While the wok mixture is simmering. prepare noodles according to package. Add stir fry to the noodles and enjoy!
I still have more to share about NYC and other great product finds to write about but my pillow is looking to good right now :) Happy Monday!!
