When life is busy call on Annie Chun for a busy Monday Stir Fry!

By Mom on the Run (Visit website)

image My new favorite NYC lunch stop!(I loved this picture but more about this place in another blog)

I really wanted to cook a home cooked meal tonight because while I was away Dad on the Run made sure to load up on non-purification restaurants. The girls were in heaven :)

Last week I was sent an amazing samples package to try from Annie Chun?s All-Natural Asian Cuisine. They have launched a new line of Asian noodles and I was able to sample with a few tonight :)

IMG_1180A great package of noodles that my family loves!

What I love about Annie Chun?s products is that they are all natural and you don?t have to put much effort or time to create a healthy meal.

As Annie states herself:

?That's the secret behind our Annie Chun's sauces: all-natural ingredients, chosen with care and prepared in the style of my family's favorite recipes. We use no preservatives, and our sauces are lower in sodium and fat, many are even completely fat-free.

They're easy-to-use right from the bottle to create full-flavored noodle dishes (check out our wonderful line of Asian Noodles designed to go with them), stir-fries, and grilled meat, seafood poultry and vegetables.?

I dug out my Wok and whipped up a great Asian inspired meal in less than 30 minutes.

Sarah?s Quick Stir Fry

Ingredients:

Grape Seed Oil or any other high heat oil

1 pound of Stir Fry Beef or Chicken (I used both)

2 TBSP of Corn Starch

1 Bottle of Annie Chun?s Teriyaki Sauce

1 Box of Annie Chun?s Chow Mein Noodles

Stir Fry Veggies (I used fresh)

Fresh Ginger

2 Cloves of Garlic

I started by heating Grape Seed Oil in a hot Wok.IMG_1184 IMG_1181

This is my Mom?s First Wok! It is over 20 years old and still work great!

IMG_1182I decided on a chicken and beef stir fry. I coated the meat with a few tablespoons of corn starch. I find that allows for meat to have a better texture while in the wok.

Once the Wok and oil are heated. Add the meat and allow to brown through for about 5-7 minutes. Add ginger and garlic to the cooking meat.

Once meats are browned remove from heat and set aside.

Next, add Veggies to wok and allow for them to cook through or to crunchy desire.

IMG_1183 IMG_1186 Whole Foods is a lifesaver on a busy night like tonight. Fresh cut veggies!

Once veggies are cooked through, add meat back to wok and let flavors mingle and add teriyaki sauce. Let wok simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens a bit.

While the wok mixture is simmering. prepare noodles according to package.

Add stir fry to the noodles and enjoy!

IMG_1192 If you are looking for a highly quality Asian inspired product, Annie Chun?s is for you. The flavor of the sauce was amazing and just as tasty as many restaurants around my home. It was not too salty and did not need anything extra added to it. It was perfect the way it came. The other plus is that this dish is family friendly and wallet savvy. Daijia had 2 helpings which can be interpreted as YUMMY! Please visit the website for more Asian inspired dishes and other product info. Thanks again to Anja for providing me these samples to ?play? with. I still have the pad tai to work with :)

I still have more to share about NYC and other great product finds to write about but my pillow is looking to good right now :) Happy Monday!!
