WP Touch iPhone Theme
I love my website. I love the theme, I love the changes that I’ve made to it – I’ve worked very hard to make it look a certain way and I think I’ve done a pretty good job. While I was patting myself on the back, I decided to look at my site from my iPhone and… well… It just didn’t translate well. There were so many things on the page that when viewed on a mobile device it just looked like a mess and if you didn’t have access to Wi-Fi, it was blank for a very long time, if it even loaded at all. I tried a couple of different services for viewing my site on a mobile device, but I wasn’t quite thrilled with any of them. Either they took too long, or had advertising that I couldn’t control or were too much money … Then today when I was looking for themes for another website, I came across WP Touch and decided to give it a try. I downloaded and installed it using the Wordpress admin and activated it. At first I was intimidated by just how many options there were in the settings, but then I calmed down and read through each one and they’re so simple to use that almost anyone could figure it out. I set a few that I knew I wanted and left the rest and then visited the site from my iPhone and I have to say, it looks great! Nice clean layout, graphics within the post look great, there are lots of options for sharing via email, 3rd party Twitter apps, bookmarking, etc. There’s an option to view as RSS too - This is a powerful plug in and extremely useful! I’m really glad to have found it.Similar Posts: related searches : Wp
