Yakiniku Day

By Cravings of the Newlyweds (Visit website)

Yakiniku, "commonly refers to a Japanese style of cooking bite-sized meat (usually beef and offal) and vegetables on griddles over flame of wood charcoals carbonized by dry distillation or gas/electric grill." (Wikipedia)

We are still scouting for a nice hot plate for yakiniku, and since we haven't have one we used our small hot plate and electric stove, our improvise version, and the result?... Burp! Burp and Burp!

upper left to right: Sanchi, pork, squash, greenbell pepper, onion, yakiniku sauce, beef

check out the beef pattern!
upper: see our cute hot plate on the job?

dip grilled beef/veggies into the yakiniku sauce, wrap it with sanchi or eat it with rice
upper left: cabbage (yes grill them too!)
