If you love Crumb Cake, I've found one you've got to try! The cake itself is soft and tender, from using cake flour and buttermilk, and the crumb topping is crisp, but not too hard and definitely does not have a sandy texture. It's just delicious and it's the best Crumb Cake I've ever had! To be truthful-- I'm a hard sell when I see a reduced-calorie recipe for cake. Somehow, "Reduced Fat" and "Cake" translates as an oxymoron to me. I've made low-fat cookies and cakes, and I've not been impressed with the results. Oh my, are these cookies ever good! I made them this past week end and my husband and I both couldn't stay out of them! I love oatmeal cookies any way, but these are the best I've ever eaten.
