Anyone who loves to cook harbours fantasies of having their own market stall. Naturally, I have always wanted one, but having worked in the food buisness for a long time, I know that it is a lot of work for not a lot of reward. That said, I found myself agreeing to fill a spot at the up and coming Brixton's Bazaar - a market that's just got going opposite the Ritzy and in time will[...]http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/blogspot/zpdD/...

One of the big attractions in Chiang Mai is the Night Bazaar . Located along Chan Klan Road, it stretches between Tha Phae Road and Sri Donchai Road. It is within easy walking distance from the town centre. Not as interesting as the night bazaars in Bangkok, it is nevertheless worth a visit to see what Chiang Mai has to offer in terms of souvenirs and handicrafts. There are lots of stalls[...]http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/blogspot/cxbx/...

I'm highly anticipating the arrival of my new digital camera ? a Canon Powershot ? so I've been going through all my old photos on my Casio. I came across these photos from Bryan's and my first dinner at The Bazaar by Jose Andres at West Hollywood's SLS Hotel. It was a few months after the hotel, and subsequently restaurant, opened. Ironically, it was also the week I got[...]http://pardonmycrumbs.blogspot.com/2010/01/ba...

Every year the International Women's Club of Sofia has a holiday charity bazaar. Individual countries set up stalls and sell various items that are unique to that country i.e food, crafts, grocery products, which are difficult to locate in Sofia etc... Last year, I tried helping out with the American stall, but my job didn't give me much time. This year, my contribution was[...]http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/EatingGardenin...

Here's my boxed lunch. All good except for the rice, which was just okay. I don't like how they sweetened and vinegar-ed it. The sliced cucumbers are sweet and kinda sour-ish (like pickled vegetables). The chicken is chicken teriyaki. You can barely see the gyoza (Japanese potsticker) behind the chicken. I think there were three gyoza before I ate two of them. The Fresno Betsuin[...]http://corriefood.blogspot.com/2009/10/fresno...

If you have the time, head to the Saturday Night Bazaar at Wualai Road. Unlike the Night Bazaar which is open every evening, the Saturday Night Bazaar is only open on Saturdays. It is located at the South-Western Corner of Chiang Mai City. To me the Saturday Night Bazaar is more interesting then the Night Bazaar, as it is geared more to the locals. Instead of endless souvenirs, you get[...]http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/blogspot/cxbx/...

Last week Bryan and I had appetizers at The Bazaar for dinner ? it was one of my "I'm-not-cooking-so-where-can-we-go" nights ? and as we were perusing the menu, came across something very strange. A WATER menu. Not only that, it was a long water menu. Filled with water bottles with a minimum $10 price tag, each with health and mineral promises more elaborate than the next. As a[...]http://pardonmycrumbs.blogspot.com/2010/02/wa...

This one is adapted from Jaya?s Blog .She had cooked it for ?This book makes me cook? and on reading it I was literally drooling. This recipe is from Madhur Jaffery?s book -'Climbing the mango trees' where she talks about her childhood , her life and of course food!! After reading Jaya's review on Madhur Jaffrey?s dishes and book, I was tempted to make this one and after preparing it I now[...]http://seduceyourtastebuds.blogspot.com/2010/...
