Usually I'm cooking breakfast for Moe between 6:30 and 7:00, especially on the days that I work. I'm not interested in eating at that time. But on my days off I like to make a late breakfast/brunch. This morning I sauted a couple of chorizo sausages and a few cherry tomatoes that came from our garden ( I still have a few ripening on the counter) and made a Frittata to[...]http://www.thibeaultstable.com/2009/10/breakf...

The frittata - what an underestimated food. It is classier than a scramble, less formal than an omelet, and sturdy enough to serve alongside just about anything else you have on the menu. I recently gained a new appreciation for the frittata at a brunch my good friends Amanda and Luke hosted a couple months ago, and I have been eagerly experimenting ever since. What I particularly[...]http://thefreshdish.com/2009/02/13/breakfast-...

Let?s take an opinion poll. Raise your hand if you like to plan every little detail of your day/week ahead of time. Okay, now raise your hand if you really don?t see the point in getting things done early, just as long as they get done by when they are supposed to. Hmm, interesting. I?m curious how many of you/us are somewhere in between? I?m sooo not a procrastinator. I?d much rather[...]http://itsallgouda.blogspot.com/2009/02/incre...

A frittata is an Italian omelet, which, unlike a traditional omelet, is is served open rather than folded, and is typically started on the stovetop and finished in the broiler. Filled with meats, cheese, or vegetables, frittatas are an excellent avenue for leftover food. In Naples, Italy, frittatas (not surprisingly) typically also contain pasta. It is thought by devoted food[...]http://savory.tv/2008/10/11/not-just-for-brea...

Sometimes a dish made with leftovers and another ingredient becomes more than the sum of its parts. Witness the frittata. Last night for dinner, Significant Eater and I had bucatini all'Amatriciana along with a side of a fennel, blood orange and olive salad - very Batali and I should've taken a picture. Now, the first question when we're done with our dinners is generally "Is there any more?"http://tastytravails.blogspot.com/2009/02/got...

Cracked eggs Leftover roasted potatoes, Italian sausage discovered in the freezer, a shallot, grated Romano cheese, oregano, salt, pepper AND a fairly new non-stick Calphalon pan Adds up to a frittata Yum. This was my first attempt at a frittata. While I frequently used a non-stick electric skillet, I did not have a non-stick pan for the stove. Until I[...]http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/blogspot/AdkU/...

I sure made the wrong shoe choice for our morning walk this morning. Not that the Earth Boots were uncomfortable, but I had done a leg workout and wearing the boots made the workout recovery that much more difficult. Earth shoes are made so the heel is lower than the toe. They are suppose to be very good for posture. I love my Vegan Earth Boots but they just weren’t right for[...]http://applecrumbles.wordpress.com/2009/02/17...

The vegetable diet continues with this colorful, scrumptious AND healthy frittata! I generally love frittatas, but I got the idea for this particular combination while surfing a bunch of great food blogs yesterday. It was made by Kalyn of Kalyn's Kitchen , and you can see her original recipe here . I changed it a little bit, but it's still very similar. It was utterly delicious, and[...]http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/Tastorama/~3/3...
