The following is a great little recipe I've had in my files for years. This is an old recipe for cookies that is from so long ago that they're called, "Tea Cakes". I've noted on the card that the woman from Georgia who submitted the recipe said that it was a cookie that her grandmother always baked. Tea Cakes Annie Bell Light, Norcross, Ga. 1 heaping tsp baking soda 1 C buttermilk[...]http://frugalhomekeeping.blogspot.com/2009/11...

I love Madeleines. Whenever we used to go to Coscto, I would pick up a box of these. They look like cookie but actually they are petite cakes that are perfect to go with tea/coffee or afternoon snack. This time I decided to make this heavenly small cakes/cookies a try at home. So I started to look for the recipe and got a perfect one at JoyofBaking. Putting this[...]http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/AddingZestToYo...

I have been a long time fan of the Cookie Cake . There’s just something about the concentrated cookie flavor in the shape of a cake slice that is just so appealing. I have tried many times–unsuccessfully–to re-create this cookie cake flavor on my own. Attempts including rolling out dough into a circle on a cookie sheet–failed, doesn’t cook evenly. I have also[...]http://www.noshandtell.com/?p=513

I?ve been reading the Baker and Spice books Exceptional Cakes and Exceptional Breads , and I may end up making every item found in both books. Everything looks unbelievably good. I linked those titles to Amazon, but the Cakes book is unfortunately, currently unavailable. Baker and Spice shops are located in London and were founded on the principle of hand-made baking with[...]http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/LisaIsCooking/...

This is a great cookie to fill in a celebration cookie tray. Apple Crumbles has a graduation party coming up that needs a whole lotta cookies. This giant cookie is a super center piece for the entire tray. It will freeze really well and taste so great. Make sure you check back on July 18th to see the decorated GIANT COOKIE. But for now, this is how to make it your self. You will[...]http://applecrumbles.wordpress.com/2009/07/09...

These bars have been around for years. You vary the ingredients according to likes and dislikes but the best feature about this recipe is the lack of clean up. You put all your ingredients together in your baking pan and only worry about the washing up after removing the bars from the pan. Sweet and yummy…. Easy One Dish Cookie Bars 1/2 cup unsalted butter 1[...]http://applecrumbles.wordpress.com/2009/07/26...

I had to nearly execute an scientific research to find this sobaos * recipe. I've got one but, frankly, they came out like bricks. My kids allow me almost everything in the kitchen and they ate them with enthusiasm, but I wasn't satisfied. First, I went to the supermarket and read the ingredients' percentages of our favorite sobaos brand. Then, I did several easy mathematical[...]http://mylifeintwowords.blogspot.com/2009/05/...
