We enjoyed the heat of day yesterday. We drove to my sisters house on the lake with Shane. No one was home but we just wanted to enjoy the lake and the weather. An old historic inn overlooking Canadarago Lake was the setting for our wonderful Friday night dinner. We walked through a very homey looking foyer. The Lakehouse is a Bed and Breakfast that features a wonderful restaurant offering great food at very reasonable prices. While volunteering at the track was so much fun, our short stay at a Bed and Breakfast called The Herb Cottage was a thrill for me. It was clean, Carolsue was so friendly, it was like walking into a family home. Everything is natural – she even makes her own soaps. She is a Vegetarian offering organic goodies.
