I haven't posted anything lately because my life has been pretty hectic. I'm not going to elaborate but let's just say I was caught between work, school and life as they were busy having a go at my priority scale. Anyhow, in between some quiet interludes I was able to do a little bit of something which I actually really love to do which is cook. I mean cook for the pleasure of it rather[...]http://sourbittersaltysweet.blogspot.com/2009...

After a busy weekend of travelling around the country for weddings and cricket matches, we needed something quick and easy. Our standby is always roast chicken so, after a desperate hunt for a chicken late on Sunday afternoon, that’s what we had. Nothing of particular interest to report other than, after several failed attempts, our King Edward potatoes were perfectly crunchy on[...]http://dinnerdiary.org/2009/06/07/roast-chick...

Usually, my spouse gives me carte blanche to choose the meals we will be eating. However, last week, he badly wanted to eat a roast chicken. So, while I was preparing the chicken , I thought it would be great[...]http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/FoodGourmand/~...

We had originally decided to cook lentils this evening, but as I wasn’t feeling well Kerri decided that we needed roast chicken instead. A very good idea it was too. We do tend to have roast chicken fairly often (although not all that often recently) so do find it a little hard to think of new an interesting ways to photograph it and they often come out looking the same, which[...]http://dinnerdiary.org/2009/07/21/roast-chick...

There are plenty of stories that I could share with you about roast chicken. My memories of eating it as a child, as an adult, and in-between - are plentiful. But that's really neither here nor there, and would be distracting to the missive - you need to make this. Soon. As soon as possible, in fact. And I want to tell you that there is a way to get your roast chicken perfect every time.[...]http://www.sassyradish.com/archives/2009/09/r...

Tonight was my turn to cook for my friends, oh and the guy doesn?t have to cook, lucky him, he only came to eat. Sial! Haha. I really wanted a clever name for this post but then again this one states what it says on the packet - it is a chicken pot roast. Confession time (i think I am making a habit of this). This is the first time I have EVER made a pot roast let alone a chicken one. I always do a roast, whereby you blast the chicken for 1 1/12 hours, make some gravy do the potatoes, carrots etc in a[...]http://vipantrywedonthaveablogblog.blogspot.c...
