Bunny cake
Turn some regular brownies into a cute rabbit for Easter, or any other occasion.
Preparation
-
White chocolate ganache :
Heat the cream. In a bowl, put the withe chocolate, and pour the hot cream on it. Stir until it gets smooth.
-
Take 2 tbsp of this ganache, and add some pink food coloring (it will help to draw the ears and nose). Put these in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
-
Brownies batter :
Combine the eggs with the brown sugar, then add the flour.
-
Melt the chocolate with the butter, and add it to the batter. Mix well. Split this batter in half.
-
Pour these in 2 round molds of the same size. Bake 20 minutes at 350°F (180°C). Leave to cool down.
-
Put one of the brownies on a cutting board. Cut it as shown on the picture (or the video at the bottom of this recipe), to form 2 ears and a bow tie.
-
Place this pieces with the full brownies on a tray.
-
Apply some chocolate ganache on all the surface.
-
Sprinkle the head and the ears with some grated coconut to make the fur. Stick it on the edges, it will hold with the ganache.
-
Using a piping bag, draw the inner ears and the nose with the pink ganache.
-
Split the pocky sticks in half, and place them around the nose to make the whiskers. Put 2 brown M&M's on top to make the eyes.
-
Then, stick some M&M's on the bow tie.
-
There you are, your rabbit cake is ready!
