Ingredients

2 servings
- Spinach - 1 bunch

- Onion - 1 no

- Oil - 1 teaspoon

- Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon

- Urad dal - 1 teaspoon

- Red chillies - 3 to 4 nos

- Curry leaves - 1 tablespoon

- Garlic - 5 pods

- Coconut grated - 1 tablespoon

- Salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Finely chop the spinach and keep aside.

Step 2

Heat oil in the pan, add urad dal, mustard seeds, curry leaves, red chillies and garlic pods.

Step 3

Once splutter, add the finely chopped onions and saute till tender.

Step 4

Add the chopped spinach and salt. Cover and cook till done. (No need to add water).

Step 5

Finally, add the grated coconut and cook for 2 more minutes.

Step 6

Serve immediately.
