Ingredients:
Flour-1 cup
Sugar-3/4 cup
Chocolate chips-1/2 cup
Butter-100 gm
Vanilla essence-2 tsp
Egg-1
Baking Soda-1 tsp
Salt a pinch

Preparation:
In a separate bowl mix flour,baking soda,salt together.Whisk egg with vanilla in a small bowl and set aside.
Take a mixing bowl,add in butter and sugar and beat it with a electric mixer till it gets creamy.
Pour in the egg mixture and beat it till it gets fluffly and pale..
Put in the flour mixture and beat till it is just combined.
Add in the chocolate chips and fold gently.
Put this on to a plastic sheet or lcing film and form into a square shape.Cover it with the plastic wrap and set it in fridge for 1-2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 160°C(320°F)
Remove this from the fridge and cut into 12 piece..Roll each piece into a ball shape and place on a cookie sheet or a well buttered tray leaving lot of space between each other.
Place this on the middle rack of the oven and bake for 18-20 min or until light golden.
Remove this from the oven and let it cool completely before placing them on to a wire rack..Let it cool completely.
Put this in to a air tight container and enjoy with a glass of milk.
