Chocolate Marble Muffin
Did not feel like having dinner tonight so by 8:30pm, my stomach was already giving me signals that its time for refueling. Took out my muffin recipe book and search for a recipe that only requires what I have in the fridge. Flour..check...eggs...check and 40 minutes later, I was already happily munching away on my muffins.
I asked my 5 year old daughter the difference between a muffin and a cupcake and she told me that a muffin is a boy and a cupcake is a girl. And the reason is because cupcakes are prettier O_O Chocolate Marble Muffin 6 tbsp of vegetable oil 280g plain four 1 tbsp baking powder pinch of salt 115g caster sugar 2 eggs 250ml milk 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 tbsp cocoa powder Method 1. Sift flour, baking powder and salt into large bowl. Stir in sugar. 2. Place the eggs in another bowl and beat lightly. Then, beat in milk, oil and vanilla extract. 3. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredient and pour in the beaten ingredients. 4. Stir gently to combine only. 5. Divide mixture into 2 bowls. Sift cocoa powder into one bowl and leave the other bowl plain. 6. Scoop mixture into muffin cups or greased muffin trays (Alternating the chocolate and plain mixture) 7. Bake in preheated oven at 200C for 20 minutes. 8. Serve warm or transfer to wire rack to cool completely. I love my muffins warm :) related searches : Chocolate
