Step 1: Mix wet ingredients till sugar completely dissolves, keep aside.
Step 2: Make sure to sift together the dry ingredients to ensure there are no impurities and lumps. Also the baking soda and powder needs to evenly spread out.
Step 3: Now add the dry ingredients slowly little by little to the wet ingredients and stir slowly in one direction. Make sure no lumps are formed in the mixture.
Step 4: Pre-Heat the oven to 175 deg c and grease the cake pan with few drops of oil. Pour the mix on to the greased pan and bake it for 35-40 mins. Check if a fork inserted comes out clean.
Step 5: Allow it to cool, refrigerate it and serve cold.
