Coconut oil:1 1/2tbs
Onion:2nos(200gm),finely chopped
Ginger:1tsp,finely chopped
Garlic:2cloves,finely chopped
Green chillies:2,sliced
Curry leaves:a few
Tomato:2nos(200gm),finely chopped
Chili powder:1/2tsp to 3/4tsp(adjust according to spice level)
Garam masala powder:1/3tsp
Coriander powder:1/4tsp
Salt,to taste
Water:2tbs

METHOD:
Heat the oil in a non-stick kadai.Add chopped onion and sauté on low heat until transparent.Add chillies,ginger&curry leaves and continue to sauté till the onions turn golden brown.Now add chopped tomatoes and cook covered until tomatoes get mashed.,stirring occasionally.Add chili,garam ,coriander powders and enough salt.Mix well and sauté on low heat till oil separates from the masala.Add the water,mix well,cover and simmer for 2mints until dry.Serve hot with idiyappam/chapati
