Pumpkin spice latte with homemade pumpkin spice syrup!

Today you will discover how to make this super comforting and spicy drink to spend the winter warm in front of your favorite series :-) The best part of this drink is obviously the homemade pumpkin spice syrup (and obviously you can find the recipe just here). Preparation
- Heat the milk in a saucepan (or microwave it for 1 min). Meanwhile, prepare a cup of espresso.
- First pour the syrup in the mug, then the milk, then the espresso.
- For the final touch, add some whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon powder.
- And there you are, your pumpkin spice latte ils ready!
Observations
Can we use milk other than cow's milk?
Whole milk is recommended for a creamy texture, but if you are lactose intolerant, you can definitely use alternatives such as almond, soy, oat or hazelnut milk for example.
Can we use another syrup in this recipe?
You can add vanilla or hazelnut syrup which go very well with coffee.
Is there an alternative to homemade pumpkin syrup?
Of course, you can absolutely use pumpkin syrup already prepared in a specialized store or online. You can also make a pumpkin spice latte with pumpkin puree by clicking here.
Can we use decaffeinated coffee for this recipe?
If you want to make this recipe in the evening and not stay awake because of the coffee, decaffeinated coffee is a very good alternative!
How to make the preparation smoother?
You can definitely make milk foam to give a smoother appearance to your drink, for example (pour your milk into an airtight container and shake it for 20 to 30 seconds until it becomes frothy).
