Kadhi Pakora & Chawal
Ingredients For Pakora: Gram flour: 50 gm Onion, chopped: 25 gm Spinach, chopped: 100 gm Ginger, chopped: 5 gm Red chilli powder: 1 gm Ajwain: 1/2 gm Salt: 2 gm Baking powder: 1/4 gm Water : 1/2 cup Oil for deep frying For Kadhi: Yoghurt: 100 gm Gram flour: 25 gm Red chilli paste: 2 gm Salt: 2 gm Oil: 10 ml Curry leaves: 1 gm Mustard seeds: 1/4 gm Fenugreek seeds: 1/4 gm Turmeric: 1/4 gm Dry chillies: 1/2 gm Method Mix all the pakora ingredients in half a cup of water. Heat oil in a wok. Take a small amount of the paste in hand and make small balls of it. Deep fry the mixture till golden brown. Drain oil. Beat yogurt and gram flour till it is thick without any lumps. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, red chilli and fenugreek. Add the yoghurt mixture, bring to boil on medium heat and simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Keep stirring to prevent lumps. Add the pakoras and again cook on a low heat for about five minutes. Adjust the seasoning and serve hot with steamed rice ( chawal ). related searches : Kadhi
