Ingredients:
1 inch of fresh ginger, sliced
1/2 onion chopped
1/2 cup of tamari soy sauce
1/4 cup of Japanese rice vinegar
3 tablespoons of mirin
1 lb of cod fillets
1 tsp garlic powder
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup of bread crumbs or panko
Vegetable oil

Preparation:
Prepare the ginger sauce:
Blend ginger, onion, soy sauce, vinegar and mirin in a food processor or blender for 1 - 2 minutes.
Fry the fish:
Blend the flour, salt and garlic powder. Dip the cod pieces in the flour, then the egg and finally the bread crumbs. Fry until golden brown.
