Kappa puzhukku / tapioca curry



Ingredients:

- Tapioca - 2 cups/400 g
- Red chillie - 4
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cocount oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 pods
- Jeera - 1/4 teaspoon
- Curry leaves
- Salt to taste

Preparation:

Step 1: Cut tapioca into small pieces and add double the amount of water.

Step 2: Cover it and cook for 5-10mts, till it is fully cooked.

Step 3: Strain the water and smash the tapioca with a wooden spoon.

Step 4: Grind chillie, turmeric, jeera and garlic to a fine paste.

Step 5: Add to the tapioca and boil for some time.

Step 6: Heat coconut oil in a pan and add little mustard, curry leaves and 1 red chillie.

Step 7: Pour this over the cooked tapioca. Serve hot with meen curryKappayum Meenum.
