Belfast?s best chip shop?
Everyone has their favourite takeaway. I’m a little fickle, my favourite changes with the wind. One minute it’s Ruba Spice, the next minute it’s Hong Kong Night then it’s on to a whole host of others. But when it comes to the chip shop, I have one favourite because it’s easier. I don’t think there’s that many decent ones out there in Belfast. There are a few, yes, but not a lot. So, for the first issue of our new food and drink print magazine we’ll be doing a feature on Belfast’s Best five chip shops. So the floor is open to you, the reader, to make your mark. Let me know what your favourite chip shop is (and why, if you can be bothered) and you never know the chip shop and you may get a mention in our little feature. The only limit is that it has to be in Belfast… oh, and of course it has to serve chips and all that. I’m keeping my favourite under wraps for the minute for a little fun. The person who is first to nominate my favourite chip shop on here wins a copy of The Country Cooking of Ireland, a large hard-backed book of great recipes worth £30. So help me out here… which is Belfast’s best chip shop?
