Kuzhi Paniyaram

PANIYARAM
It is a dish made by steaming the batter. Traditionally made from pulses and rice using a mould. It is similar to Idly and dosai. Paniyaram can be made sweet or spicy.

Main Ingredients : Rice and Urud dal

Ingredients :

Pacharisi - 1 cup

Idli rice - 1 cup

Urud dal - 1/2 cup

Vendhayam - 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Preparation :
Soak Pacharisi, Idly rice, urud dal and vendhayam in a bowl together.After 4 to 5 hours grind it till smoothLeave it for a day and then make paniyaramsYou can add chopped onions, chilli, cashew, seasoning, jeera of your choice and pour the batter in the paniyaram pan and cook.Serve it hot with Coconut chutney
