Again the hunger hit me and again I was in dilemma.Should I cook or should i just get something from Bakery? However against all temptation, I decided to make simple evening snack/tiffin.Poha is a typical Maharashtra Tiffin and is famous in all Marathi households.I cannot make it as Tasty as they do.However here is my version
Poha ![]() Ingredients Flattened/Beaten Rice/Atukulu/Poha - 2 cups Ground Nut Powder - 2 table spoon Onion(Finely chopped) - 1 cup Green Chilli - 3 diced Curry Leaves - 1 stalk Potato (chopped) - 1 cup Cumin and Mustard seeds - 1 table spoon Sugar - One table spoon Coconut - grated - 1 table spoon Oil - 3 table spoons Salt - to taste Turmeric Powder - pinch Method Wash and drain Poha and leave it aside. Now take a pan/wok,add oil and let it heat well. Add Cumin and Jeera Seeds and then Curry leaves and green chilli to this. Now add Onions and fry them till golden brown. Add Potatoes and let the potato fry well and add sugar. Add Grated coconut to this and mix it well. Now add turmeric powder and salt. Now add the poha and mix well. Sprinkle Groundnut powder on this. You can also squeeze lemon on this and Poha is ready to eat! related searches : Poha
