STEAM CORN CAKES

 For those that love to bake but with no oven at home. My first attempt in using the tefal steamer to bake cupcakes.


Here are the ingredients fo the sweet corn cupcakes:


4 eggs


200g sugar


200g creamy corn


250g flour


1 tbsp double action baking powder


80g melted butter



 Method


Whip the eggs and sugar till light and fluffy. Add in the creamy corn, mix until well blended.


Fold in the flour and double action baking powder, mix until well blended.


Add in the melted butter, mix until well incorporated.


Pour it into greased and floured 10cm cupcakes mould.


Steam for 30 minutes


 



 Tips


You can pour the batter into any types of mould as desired but the cooking time will be varied. Small cake takes lesser cooking time than the large cakes.

STEAM CORN CAKES



A very easy recipe to follow and it took me less than an hour to prepare the ingredients as above. If you do not have an oven at home but still loves to bake, you can try the recipe above.
