- 100 g mutton keema ( minced mutton) - 1 spring curry leaves - 1 green chilli, finely chopped - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs - 1/4 cup maida / all purpose four - 2 teaspoon corn flour - 100 ml oil for frying
For the spice paste / masala: - 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon red chilli powder - 2 teaspoon coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder - 1 onion, chopped - 8 cloves garlic, chopped - 1 - inch piece ginger, chopped - 1 teaspoon salt - 1 egg - 10 cashew nuts , split - Make a fine paste of all the ingredients in a mixer.
Transfer spice paste to another bowl and mix with mutton mince/ keema, breadcrumbs, maida, corn flour, curry leaves and chopped green chilli. Mix well. Keep aside for 5 minutes.
Make even sized balls and flatten them into round shapes.
Heat oil in a pan / kadai and shallow fry ( medium heat ) in batches till golden brown on both sides. Serve with tea / coffee as a snack or a side dish.
