Baking with Kim
Today was the last day of the Creative and Mindful Cooking Workshop…does that mean I have to go home tomorrow? I don’t want to go home! ![]() This morning we had a chance to work with Kim, the executive pastry chef at Miraval. Kim went to the Cordon Bleu school in Scottsdale, so we chatted a bit about baking, pastry and prune puree, which is apparently a great substitution for butter in some high-fat recipes. ![]() Isn’t she cute? I love when pastry chefs wear pink nail polish. ![]() We had a chance to play with chocolate— ![]() braid whole wheat challah bread— ![]() And learn some of the tips and secrets for healthy desserts.
