Bell Pepper Rice/ Capsicum Rice
Ingredients: Basmati rice: 1 cupGreen Pepper: 1/2 Red Pepper: 1/4Yellow Pepper: 1/4Onion: 1Ginger: a small piece (chopped)Salt: to tasteBlack Pepper pwd: to tasteChana daal: 1 tsp (Though I used Moong Dhuli Daal only) Urad daal: 1 tspCinnamon pwd: a pinchCumin seeds: 1 tbspOil: 2-3 tbsp Method: Cut peppers and onion in thin long strips.Wash rice properly and dip in 2 cups water for 10 mins.Heat oil in pan. Add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.Add onion and ginger. Cook till onions turn translucent.Dry roast chana daal and urad daal in a separate pan.Add pepper, salt, cinnamon pwd, urad daal, chana daal, balck pepper pwd and rice (with water in which it was soaked)Cook for 10-15 mins tilll rice is done.Serve hot. related searches : Bell
