Brain Teasers and Kidney Sqeezers

By Consider This! (Visit website)

Well, Im milking this Monday for all it's worth!
I woke up early for a new Yoga class. I found a quaint little seaside studio just minutes away from me! When I got there I was pleasantly surprised with a beautiful studio, with vaulted ceilings and a beautifully crafted Orchid mural draping the wall. With only 3 students, we were blessed with the focused attention and energy of the instructor. We moved through beautifully choreographed sequences, and a wonderfully detoxifying flow. Focusing on twists, and core utilization she guided us deeply into a meditation, instructing us to "Let go of the roles we play, and settle within our souls."
Role? MOI?! Yeah, YOU!
This is what is so gratifying about this practice, it's raw nature, a place to simply be. To create. By shedding these facades we move more clearly into the realm of our true nature, where we can slowly peel away our "layers", our "roles".

When I came home from class, I jumped back into my book. BAM! Shoved the shit right into my face.

"He who fears he will suffer, already suffers what he fears."

I read this quote and laughed out loud, thank you universe. You talkin to me?
Think about it, are you a victim of something right now?
Or are you a creator? This need to control, control, control only leads to more chaos. This fear of losing it, only creates more. Only nourishes the fear.

What are you actually controlling? Look into your life and see. What's showing up, what are your results?
Your results will always tell you the truth. What your intentions were, whether they be conscious or not.
Take a look at what isn't working and change it. You do have that control.
Finger points!
;)

Anyways, moving right along to my meal making role, here's what I've been creating...
Bistro burger with Bone Suckin' Sawce, avocado, peppers, and cilantro
Smack dab between two puffs of doughy, Ezekial bliss.
And this squirty little Tangelo!
