Health & Sugar: Baked Banana Bar
I like sweet things. I also like things that make you feel good. Inspired by these yumtastic cookies that I made last month and actually made me feel better, I wanted to make a bar with similar ingredients. Why a bar, I don’t know. But the baked bar spirits were calling me, and who am I to disobey a message from food-heaven above? So we take a little break from Island Hopping (though it’s just begun) to get in a perkifying dose of B vitamins from bananas and whole grains, and a splash of sunshine from some omega-3 filled flax seeds. Mmm. Baked Banana Bar 1/2 cup honey nut cheerios 1. Preheat oven to 350*F/180*C
5. Press mix into the bottom of a baking dish. Layer slices of banana on top, and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Top with an equal amount of mix, patting down to smooth. 6. Bake for 15 minutes, until top is dry and just the edges have browned. Let cool, cut, and serve. Notes: *I think that’s how much I used. Apparently I forgot to write it down -_-”. related searches : Health
