Let?s Do Launch

Is he a food blogger? Is he a cookbook author? Is he a pop-star?

If it’s Donal Skehan you’re talking about, then the answers are yes, yes and yes. He’s also ridiculously young, with all of 23 years to his credit so far. And he’s impossible not to like.

Donal’s book, Good Mood Food, is the latest volume of recipes to reach the launch-pad hereabouts and has grown out of his blog of the same name. While not blogging and engaging in cook bookery, Donal sings with his group Industry Band.

I have yet to get my hands on a copy of the book, but if Donal’s blog is anything to go by, you can expect things to be simple, tasty and beautifully photographed (Caroline from Bibliocook has a nice review over here). Meanwhile, I am taking myself off to the launch tomorrow evening so that I can secure my own copy of the book and (yay!) finally get to meet Donal in person.
