Step 1: Take the frozen cut snakegourd pieces in a microwave safe bowl and wash it and then cook it in the microwave for 5 minutes or till they are cooked and soft.
Step 2: Once cooked squeeze the water out of the cooked snake gourd and keep it aside.
Step 3: Now place a pan on the stove on medium high heat and all the seasoning ingrdients to it except turmeric and salt.
Step 4: Once the seasoning is done add the cooked snakegourd pieces to the pan along with turmeric and salt and mix well.
Step 5: Cook for a minute till all the ingredients blend well and switch off the stove. Now take the yogurt and beat it well .
Step 6: Add the well beaten yogurt to the pan of cooked gourd and garnish it with cilantro and cut green chillies. Adjust salt if needed.
Step 7: Delicious and healthy Potlakaya Perugu Pachadi/SnakeGourd Yogurt Chutney is ready to be served as is or with rice or rotis or parathas.
